The Illinois Reading Council has chosen Edward Kelsey Moore's debut novel, The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat, for their annual ILLINOIS READS program, created to promote literacy across the state of Illinois. Books for ILLINOIS READS are selected in age-specific categories from infant (read-to books) through adult. The Supremes at Earl's is one of only six books chosen to be included this year for adult readers! The ILLINOIS READS selections will be introduced into classrooms, public health facilities, public and school libraries, and bookstores. ILLINOIS READS will use posters, public service announcements, television interviews, and more to publicize the program. For more info on ILLINOIS READS -- click here!
