Edward Kelsey Moore, bestselling author of The Supremes At Earl's All-You-Can-Eat, has been chosen by the prestigious Indiana Authors Award as one of three finalists in the Emerging Author category! The awards recognize the contributions of Indiana authors to the literary landscape in Indiana and across the nation. Winners in some of the other categories for 2016 have already been announced but the winner of the Emerging Author award will not be made public until October 29th, at the annual Indiana Authors Award Dinner which will be held at the Indianapolis Central Library. Winners receive a cash prize, plus each winning author’s Indiana hometown public library will receive a grant of $2,500! Born and raised in Indianapolis, Edward Kelsey Moore is greatly honored to have been selected as a 2016 Emerging Author finalist. A quick reminder -- as part of the citywide Adult Summer Reading program, which the Indianapolis Public Library is sponsoring, there will be a lively book discussion of The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat next Monday, July 18th, 2016, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Sun King Brewery (135 N. College Avenue) in downtown Indianapolis. If you are in the area don't miss this spirited literary event! (Please note that you must be 21 years or older to attend the book discussion at Sun King Brewery. The author will not be present at the July 18th event -- the discussion will be led by an expert from the Indiana Writers Center.)
