And it's a feast for the eyes!
Many of you who have been visiting this site, or following THE SUPREMES will have seen the earlier red/black/silver book cover -- well things have changed, and here's how it happened: When you begin reading THE SUPREMES you will quickly be introduced to Odette, Clarice, and Barbara Jean, the main characters of the novel. As the story unfolds we travel in time with them, from the 1960s into the 2000s. Along the way you learn quite a bit about Plainview, Indiana where the book is set, a vibrant town, which later becomes a small city -- about its citizens, and about its trees, its roads, houses, and inner workings. In a way the town of Plainview is the fourth main character of the narrative.... Once we realized this everyone began to wonder what Plainview could actually look like. And so, ladies and gentlemen, with a modest fanfare... presenting a completely new cover for the U.S. editions of THE SUPREMES AT EARL'S ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT.
