Continuing his series of essays commissioned for Minnesota Public Radio's Classical MPR website, E.K.M. describes in The C Major Suite and Me why the third cello suite is his favorite of the six Bach suites.  He also shares two stories of performing the piece which tell a lot about his experience as a cellist and, in particular, his experience as a black cellist.
