This concert features some of Mexico and Latin America’s most celebrated composers, evoking and highlighting the music of their regions, along with an entrancing and chilling performance of Mozart’s Requiem, including a 70-voice choir (and a Sinfonietta twist)! ![]() Two counties in central Indiana have been thinking about (and talking about) Edward Kelsey Moore’s bestselling, first Supremes novel, The Supremes At Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat, which was chosen by Tippecanoe and White Counties as their One Great Read book for 2017. Extensive programming by the local libraries along with other community activities have included movie screenings; a photography exhibit; a book discussion at an old-style Indiana diner; several children and family events; a writing workshop; plus one workshop each on digital photo archiving and scanning your family memorabilia. And there were more than a handful of additional book discussions! All of these have taken place at locations in central Indiana during September and October — and all of it relating to The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat. It is truly an honor! As one of the final events for One Great Read 2017, Edward Kelsey Moore will be reading from his work and discussing his writing and music careers at the Tippecanoe County Downtown Library in Lafayette, IN, this Saturday, October 21st, at 2:00pm.
