![]() The Delta Memorial Endowment Fund presents its 38th Annual Literary Luncheon featuring Edward Kelsey Moore, author of the best-selling novel The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat. Moore was recently named the winner of the 2014 “First Novelist Award” from the Black Caucus of the American Library Association. The luncheon will take place on Saturday, April 26, at 11:30 a.m. at the Italian Conference Center, 631 E. Chicago Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This annual event increases public interest and knowledge of literary works by African American authors and raises money for college scholarships for graduating high school seniors. The Literary Luncheon is the signature event of the Delta Memorial Fund -- more than $125,000 has been raised for student scholarships since the fund’s inception. Noted authors who have spoken previously include: Maya Angelou, Octavia Butler, Nikki Giovanni, E. Lynn Harris and Toni Morrison.
