This week the Artists’ and Writers’ Cookbook: A Collection of Stories with Recipes (and delightful illustrations by Amy Jean Porter) has been published by powerHouse Books. Edward Kelsey Moore has shared one of his favorite recipes and an essay in the book. The editor, Natalie Eve Garrett, describes the ideas that bring the cookbook to life: "the connections between art, writing, and cooking make sense: Ideally all three are about making something new. They all require some measure of vision, revision, faith, and magic -- not to mention a high tolerance for disaster."
