Edward Kelsey Moore's bestselling first novel, The Supremes At Earl's All-You-Can-Eat, has been selected by the Indianapolis Public Library as one of the titles for their citywide program: Adult Summer Reading. The library launched the program in 2014 to encourage adults’ love of recreational reading. In addition to creating a suggested summer book list, the program sponsors discussions which are held at library locations and other popular destinations. A lively Adult Summer Reading book discussion for The Supremes at Earl's will be held at the Sun King Brewery (135 N. College Avenue) in downtown Indianapolis on Monday, JULY 18th, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. To see the library's calendar posting for the event -- click here. (Please note, where it says: This event is also offered... they are referring to book discussions for other titles on the reading list.) As an Indianapolis native Edward Kelsey Moore has wonderful memories of the Indianapolis central library. He wrote about one of his earliest experiences in a short essay which you can read -- if you click here. (A new page will open.) There is also a photo of one of the beautiful library reading rooms that you can enjoy. (Notice the small brass Egyptian bust which decorates each of the bookcases near the fireplace!) (Please note that you must be 21 years or older to attend the book discussion at Sun King Brewery. The author will not be present at the July 18th event.)
