Long time visitors to this site will remember posts in the past where we've gathered online mentions of The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat to share with you.  Wonderful things are written about the novel all the time, here's a sampling of the items we've encountered just this week...

Daniel Goldin, proprietor of Boswell Book Company in Milwaukee (and an excellent blogger) mentioned The Supremes in an informative post on books connected to Indiana:  If we're talking sweet, you should add a novel from last year, now out in paperback, which I really enjoyed, The Supremes at Earl's...   You can read his post, along with descriptions of other interesting Indiana-related books if you click here!

The Fayetteville Observer in North Carolina reviewed the book on Monday (there are plot-spoilers, so you might not want to see this review if you haven't finished the book): ...another theme of the novel is people getting second chances...Odette, Clarice, and Barbara Jean return to the diner realizing that even after forty years, the Supremes have more living to do...   Click here to read the full review.

Leaping to the other end of the U.S., The Portland Book Review provided their "take" on The Supremes this week:  The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat is a beautiful story about the importance of female friendship. Get to know these dynamic women as they tackle first-love, marriage, motherhood, infidelity, heartbreak, racism, loss and redemption, all with the support of their very best friends.  You can tackle their review if you click here!

Whew!  That's a lot of comment and criticism to absorb in one week.  Perhaps now you need to pamper yourself?  The folks over at BookPage have a contest just for you!  Please note, one entry per person, and the contest ends soon -- on March 31st.  One Grand Prize winner and five lucky Runners-Up could win...  Enter for your chance at a $300 SpaFinder gift card, a luxury basket of tea and coffee delights, and six wonderful bestsellers (including The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat), all courtesy of Vintage Books!   (Sorry - the contest has ended.)

Yes, it is HAPPENING!  Edward Kelsey Moore's award-winning, bestselling novel, The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat, has been optioned for film, in association with Fox Searchlight Pictures!  The project is only in its beginning stages, and there are many pieces of the production package that will need to come together, but the process has begun!  THIS is VERY exciting news!!  Author Edward Kelsey Moore has this comment: I'm thrilled that Fox Searchlight has optioned the film rights for The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat.  Readers have been incredibly kind and I'm overjoyed that their enthusiasm has resulted in the book finding a home at Searchlight.  I know that the Supremes movie will be in great hands there.

The New York Times  bestselling novel, The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat, takes us through a tumultuous year in the lives of Odette, Clarice and Barbara Jean, three middle-aged women from the (fictional) town of Plainview, Indiana...  Click here for further description of the novel.  The hardcover, first edition of the book was published in the U.S. in 2013, and the trade paperback in February 2014.  It is also available in E-book and Audiobook. The novel has been translated and published in more than a dozen countries -- gaining positive critical reviews and making friends and fans around the world!
