The final entry in this year’s collection of Minnesota Public Radio essays, written for their ClassicalMPR and YourClassical websites, is called The Magic of Failure.  Here’s how M.P.R. describes the piece: Professional cellist and best-selling author Edward Kelsey Moore shares a lesson he's learned from a career in the arts that has included work on some failed productions. 'Being a little, or a lot, delusional isn't the sad result of a long career in the arts,' he writes. 'It's one of the prerequisites.' Read and listen to the complete story, which includes Ginger Rogers and legendary director Joshua Logan.

To discover The Magic of Failure visit the ClassicalMPR site -- read or listen to it, for free, by clicking here! (A new page will open.)  Or you can find the essay at the free YourClassical streaming audio site, if you click here!  (A new page will open.)
To hear the audio of Edward Kelsey Moore reading this essay, follow either link above and then click on the box beneath his photo.  The box shows the recording length, which is 7min 38sec.
(Can't hear it? Check that the volume is turned up on your device.  Sorry but if the audio won’t play we don’t have answers on how to solve the problem.)

If you enjoy the essay and want to share it you’ll find social media links on both sites.
