A few years ago Edward Kelsey Moore wrote a short story called Kwanzaa-palooza which was published in the literary journal Indiana Review (Summer 2011, issue 33.1).  Later he recorded this story as an audio file and now, to celebrate the holidays, Edward Kelsey Moore will read Kwanzaa-palooza to you!  Click on the  >arrow below to listen to the streaming audio file -- Free -- and no strings attached.  Kwanzaa-palooza is the meaningful and hilarious tale of a woman who learns a little something about the Kwanzaa holiday and a whole lot about her own family!  Pork products play an important role in the narrative.  The story lasts about 25 minutes — though it might take longer if you are laughing real hard and have to go back!
Happy Holidays to you and yours from Edward Kelsey Moore.

Chances are you already know the great pleasures to be enjoyed when reading either the New York Times bestselling novel, The Supremes At Earl’s ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT or it’s long-awaited sequel, The Supremes Sing the Happy Heartache Blues (which received many positive reviews in the press, and *starred reviews from Library Journal and Publishers Weekly).  Either novel, or a do-it-yourself gift set of BOTH books, would make a supremely great holiday gift!  Both of these novels may be on the shelf in a brick and mortar Barnes & Noble (or other large bookstore chain), and nearly every large book merchant (and many smaller independent bookstores) should have a few copies of the newer, Happy Heartache Blues, in their fiction section.  Or you can order both The Supremes at Earl’s and The Happy Heartache Blues online, but shipping time is starting to run low!  Shop at a nearby store soon — or order online today!  The buttons below can help you order gift copies to brighten someone’s holidays!

Supremes At Earl's
Supremes Sing the Happy Heartache Blues

The award-winning, bestselling novel, The Supremes at Earl's ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT, is the marvelous tale of Odette, Clarice, and Barbara Jean... Through marriage, children, happiness and the blues, these strong, funny women gather each Sunday at the same table at Earl’s diner for delicious food, juicy gossip, occasional tears and uproarious laughter.  With wit, style, and sublime talent Edward Kelsey Moore brings together four intertwined love stories, three devoted allies, and two sprightly earthbound spirits in a warmhearted novel that celebrates friendship — and second chances!

In The Supremes Sing the Happy Heartache Blues El Walker, the great guitar bluesman, returns to town — even though he’d sworn never to set foot in Plainview, Indiana, again.  As they listen to El sing the blues the "Supremes" (Odette, Clarice and Barbara Jean) have no idea how profoundly his arrival will affect their lives and those of the people they love.  Ed Moore’s lively cast of characters, each of whom has already surmounted trouble and come into love, must learn this time not how to survive but how, fully, to live.  And they do, serenaded by the bittersweet and unforgettable blues song El Walker plays, born of his own great loss and love.  A touching new novel of passions, family, and forgiveness!
