Das Wunder am Ende der Straße (The Miracle at the End of the Street), is the German title for the translation of Edward Kelsey Moore’s latest novel, The Supremes Sing the Happy Heartache Blues.  German publisher Limes has just released the book this week!  It is the sequel to the first Supremes novel, which in German translation has the title: Mrs Roosevelt und das Wunder von Earl’s Diner (Mrs. Roosevelt and the Miracle of Earl’s Diner).  The new translation is available as a hardcover book (Gebundenes Buch) and eBook throughout Germany and other parts of the world including stores and online merchants in: Switzerland, Belgium, Austria and more!  It was translated from English by Babette Schröder.

You might wonder why the book's title in German is different than the English title?  The publisher is continuing what they started with the first novel.  Here's a question, and Edward's comment on this:
Why do the international translations of The Supremes At Earl's All-You-Can-Eat have different book titles?
EKM:  Apparently ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT diners are virtually non-existent outside of the U.S., so the title has been changed for each foreign publisher.

If you are interested in visiting the new book’s page at the German publisher’s site — with purchasing links for Hardcover — click here.

You can sample Chapter 1 and an excerpt of Chapter 2 (in German) — by using either of the links above and then clicking on the book’s cover!

Here are the ISBN book numbers if you'd like to search for additional book stores and online merchants who are selling the German editions:

For two performances only, Edward Kelsey Moore along with orchestra colleagues from the Chicago Philharmonic will be performing Danny Elfman’s beloved musical score, LIVE, to accompany Tim Burton’s 1983 film, The Nightmare Before Christmas!

The film follows the earnest-but-misguided adventures of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, who attempts to bring the Christmas spirit to his spooky hometown. Against the advice of Sally, a lonely rag doll who has feelings for him, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters – Lock, Shock, and Barrel – to help him kidnap Santa Claus. This stop-motion animated film is rated "PG".

Edward Kelsey Moore will be performing among his Chicago Philharmonic colleagues for these film events.

Celebrate Halloween and the Day of the Dead with this very special screening of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas at the historic (maybe even haunted!) 129-year-old  Auditorium Theatre. Come dressed in your Halloween best for a costume contest, and discover other Halloween activities in the Auditorium’s lobby!  (Orchestra members will be in costumes on Halloween, too!)
Special events and tickets are available for College Students on October 31st — and special tickets and social activities are also available for Young Professionals’ Night on November 1st.  Additional special deals, including a premier Box Seat option, and Family Pack ticket discounts for groups of 4 or more, are also being offered!
