![]() If you’ve been following Edward Kelsey Moore lately you know he’s a co-host along with author Melanie Benjamin on the new podcast, Who The Hell Are We?. In the past few weeks they’ve released several new podcast episodes: Books, Movies and a Rough Crossing ~ and ~ Road To Chicago. In Books, Movies and a Rough Crossing our hosts discuss a bit of their writing process: how seeing a scene in their mind’s eye (as if it were a movie) has brought more depth to the words they put on their manuscript pages. Later, they share memories of movies they saw years ago that made them want to write books, and each of their favorite books that became movies. AND their favorite books ABOUT movies! Also you’ll hear the tale of the $200 cab ride, and a very funny recounting of Melanie’s voyage to England on board the luxury liner, The Queen Mary. This episode is 46 minutes of very interesting conversation! Their most recent episode is Road to Chicago, a deep dive into the life experiences that brought these two authors to “The Windy City” and how the similarities and contrasts of Indiana and big-city Chicago helped shape who they have become. This episode also includes a puking sibling story, plus invisible black people! (A warning to parents — a cuss word gets used twice near the end.) This episode runs 52 minutes. Enjoy! BUT WAIT, there’s more… Our authors have also recorded some short, BONUS episodes, wherein they individually share with you behind the scenes details about some of their novels. In his bonus, Edward describes how the idea for The Supremes At Earl's ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT came to him, and in her segment Melanie gives insider info on the real-life Blanche Auzello, the main character of Melanie’s recent book, Mistress of the Ritz. More bonus episodes are coming! The bonus segments are less than 10 minutes each. The Who The Hell Are We? (WTHAW) podcast is free!
