![]() For two performances only, Edward Kelsey Moore along with orchestra colleagues from the Chicago Philharmonic will be performing Danny Elfman’s beloved musical score, LIVE, to accompany Tim Burton’s 1983 film, The Nightmare Before Christmas! The film follows the earnest-but-misguided adventures of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, who attempts to bring the Christmas spirit to his spooky hometown. Against the advice of Sally, a lonely rag doll who has feelings for him, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters – Lock, Shock, and Barrel – to help him kidnap Santa Claus. This stop-motion animated film is rated "PG". Edward Kelsey Moore will be performing among his Chicago Philharmonic colleagues for these film events. Celebrate Halloween and the Day of the Dead with this very special screening of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas at the historic (maybe even haunted!) 129-year-old Auditorium Theatre.
