Coming this Friday, May 23rd at 7:00pm, E.K.M. will be joining authors Julia Glass and Andre Dubus III at the historic Hawthorne Barn, on a sandy bluff overlooking Cape Cod Bay, in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The event is called: Take Three: A Trio of Novelists Read and Talk and is being presented by a new arts center in Provincetown with the evocative name: Twenty Summers.
Edward Kelsey Moore is the author of the award-winning, New York Times bestselling novel The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat. Julia Glass just released a new book, And The Dark Sacred Night, which continues the narrative journey of beloved characters from her National Book Award winning novel Three Junes. Bestselling author Andre Dubus' recent collection of short stories, Dirty Love, is out in hardcover, and will be available in paperback this June. Some previous books by Andre Dubus III are Townie: A Memoir, and House of Sand and Fog (which also became a movie). The Take Three evening is one of a month-long series of events -- visit the Twenty Summers site for the interesting history of the Hawthorne Barn, and also for info on other upcoming events and activities there.
